Dona Wellness Clinic provides specialized psychiatric evaluation and treatment with particular expertise in anxiety disorders, perinatal mental health, and care for high-functioning adults and students. All services are offered via secure telehealth.
Anxiety & Panic Treatment

Treatment for anxiety, panic attacks, and physical or somatic anxiety symptoms such as gastrointestinal distress, chest tightness, restlessness, or racing thoughts.
Care focuses on reducing symptoms while helping patients understand how anxiety interacts with their nervous system, lifestyle, and high-pressure environments.

Perinatal & Women’s Mental Health
Specialized psychiatric care during pregnancy, postpartum, and reproductive life transitions.
Services include evidence-based guidance on psychiatric medications during pregnancy and breastfeeding, as well as support through identity and role transitions.
Combined Medication Management & Therapy
For select patients, I offer integrated medication management and therapy sessions. This approach allows for deeper work while ensuring treatment remains cohesive, individualized, and aligned with each patient’s goals.

Comprehensive ADHD and autism evaluations for children, adolescents, and adults, including diagnostic clarification and individualized treatment recommendations.

Additionally, Dr. Scott Dona is trained in ADOS-2 (Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule, 2nd Edition), the gold-standard assessment for autism diagnosis. He conducts comprehensive developmental evaluations to ensure accurate diagnoses and help families access early intervention services tailored to their child’s needs.

PSYCHOTHERAPY
Here for You
Dr. Dona utilizes various therapeutic modalities including but not limited to cognitive based, psychodynamic, and supportive. After initial evaluation, Dr. Dona will work with to decide which modality will work best for you. Therapy sessions are typically held once a week, but a customized treatment plan can be tailored to your needs. If your plan includes medication management, this will be incorporated into your sessions.

Dr. Dona frequently works with patients who are high-functioning but feel limited by anxiety, emotional overload, or side effects from prior treatment.

In addition to traditional medication management, we offer GeneSight and Genomind testing—advanced pharmacogenetic tests designed to personalize your treatment plan.

Analyzes how your genes may affect your body's response to psychiatric medications.
It provides a detailed report on which medications may be more or less effective for you based on genetic factors.

Genomind
A more comprehensive test that assesses genetic markers related to mental health, including factors like inflammation, neurotransmitter function, and metabolism. It helps guide medication choices and lifestyle modifications to support overall well-being.

Both tests are simple, at-home DNA tests using a cheek swab. Results can help reduce the trial-and-error process, leading to a more tailored and effective treatment plan.
